Automatic piece detection feature contributes significantly to machine productivity by reducing operator intervention time, resulting in a 25% productivity increase, as shown by statistical results on actual runs. This is implemented by automatic profile scanning using high accuracy position sensor.

Face and circumferential grinding of flanges are provided, contributing to a further increase in overall plant productivity by completing several operations in a single setup.

YLE flange machining centers are fully automated three-axis systems with a single drilling/milling spindle. The system automatically searches for the flange's center and face in workspace, and then adjusts the machining pattern accordingly by controlling spindle position.
